You may have noticed that something is not quite right in your house. Perhaps the walls have started to fade, the exterior is fading, or some areas of your house just don’t feel right. Arvada houses come in a variety of styles, from older properties with established histories to more recent builds. Each one requires a different maintenance approach and upgrade.
Stellar Painting and Remodeling Inc.’s focus is to help bring back the life of your home in a way that looks great today and lasts over time. We have more than 20 years of experience, and we know what it takes to produce results that are clean, polished, and durable.
We don’t approach the estimation process in a stressful, sales-driven way. We start by having a conversation with you when we visit your house. As we walk with you through your space, we take note of what is going on and what you want to achieve. Sometimes, the project can be straightforward. Sometimes, small problems need to be resolved before the project can move forward.
We then create a detailed, clear estimate. There is nothing vague. There’s nothing confusing. It’s easy to understand the content, what it includes, why it’s recommended, and how things will work. No pressure is placed on you to make a decision immediately. Take your time to think about it and choose what suits you best. We can also assist you if you are unsure of colors. We offer color consultations to help you make the right decision. Once the project is complete, you can be confident that your work will last with our 5-year exterior warranty.
It’s a fair question. Many homeowners think about painting their homes or doing repairs themselves. While some jobs may seem doable, it’s the end result and how long they last that makes the biggest difference.
Preparation is the most important factor. The most challenging part of painting is not actually the painting itself, but everything before it. These steps determine whether or not the finished product looks and feels smooth. There are many instances where taking shortcuts has led to issues such as peeling paint or uneven covering. It’s better to do it correctly the first time. You’re paying not only for the labor, but also for experience, efficiency, and results that last.
There’s more to painting a wall than that. We prepare the area before we do anything else. This means repairing damage and ensuring that surfaces are clean and smooth. If you don’t fix any imperfections, even small ones can be visible. Our team will also protect your house. We cover all floors, furniture, and surrounding areas to prevent any damage.
We pay attention to every detail, including the edges and coverage. This is the type of work that you will notice immediately and also enjoy over time. If you are unsure which colors will look best in your room, our experts can help you choose the right ones.
Outdoor space is important in a city like Arvada. Decks are more than just an add-on. They change the way you live. A functional outdoor space is a great way to add value, whether you’re entertaining, relaxing, or simply enjoying the weather. The first step is to understand how you plan on using the space. We then design something to fit your home while also holding up under Colorado’s harsh conditions.
This could include:
1. Safety and Style with Railings
2. Pergolas as shade
3. The space feels complete with custom carpentry.
It’s important to design something that feels like it is a part of the home, not an addition.
Yes, in many cases. Especially if the cabinets you have are still in good condition. Replacing cabinets can be time-consuming and expensive. Painting them instead gives you an entirely new look, without having to go through a complete remodel. Because the cabinets occupy so much space, they can completely transform a room. Paint is only one part of the process. Before applying the finish, we clean, sand, and prepare each surface. It’s smoother, more durable, and looks much more modern.
Preparation is key to exterior painting. Start by thoroughly cleaning the surface, typically with power washing, to remove dirt and buildup. We then look at areas in need of repair, such as cracks, loose boards, and gaps that require sealing. After the prep work is complete, we use high-quality paint that can withstand Colorado’s weather and sun changes. You’re not only trying to make your house look nicer. Protecting your home from damage over time is important.
Paint is only one aspect of a larger picture. Stucco repairs, drywall repair, gutter replacement, etc., are all things we do because they affect the look and function of your house. Stucco can, over time, crack and allow moisture to enter if not properly maintained. To keep water from reaching your foundation, gutters must work properly. Even a newly painted room can look unfinished if the drywall is imperfect. You will get a better, more durable result if you take care of all these things before and during painting.
It sounds easy to choose colors, but it is not. The lighting, the size of your room, and any existing finish will all influence how the color looks on your wall. We can guide you through the entire process. You don’t have to guess what works in your room. Instead, we make recommendations based on actual results. It is important to have something you feel comfortable with every time you enter the space.
It depends on several factors. However, with the right preparation and high-quality materials, you should be able to achieve solid results. Even in Colorado, exterior paint can last several years. Interior wall paint can also last longer, depending on how it is used. It’s important to do the job right from the beginning so that you won’t need to return sooner than needed.
